Recognizing Business Achievement

Eight (8) local businesses have been nominated by the Chamber of Commerce, serving Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows, to receive an Award of Distinction at our second annual Business Distinction Awards dinneron March 19th at Meadow Gardens Golf Course.

This Award honours businesses with over 25 years of service in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows who have shown commitment and leadership in the community through longevity, job creation, community participation and by being a part of the economic success of our communities.

This year’s recipients include:

3. Bruce’s Country Market - 1947
4. Sharpe’s Insurance - 1955
5. Maple Ridge Funeral Chapel - 1964
6. Maple Ridge Cycle - 1967
7. Beaver Stamp Works - 1975
8. Amsterdam Greenhouses - 1979

The Chamber of Commerce is proud of our partnerships with the District of Maple Ridge, the City of Pitt Meadows and our host, Meadow Gardens Golf Course, to provide an event that recognizes the historic contributions of local business to our community. 

The event begins at 5:45pm with cocktails; buffet style dinner at 6:45pm and the award ceremony will be from 7:15 – 8:30 pm. Tickets are on sale now at $45.00 each and tables of eight (8) for $320.00.
