Women's AM is a non-profit organization that provides the opportunity for women to meet on a professional and social basis. The group was founded in 1988 by Michelle Emmerson, Manager of the Chamber of Commerce at the time, and Lois Hourston, then Sales Manager of The News. Since then, Women's AM has grown in the community and meetings and events are well attended.

We are sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce and The News and we appreciate the support they provide our group.

We have monthly breakfast meetings which offer inspiring speakers and great networking opportunities. Meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month at Fraserview Village from September until November and January to May inclusive.

We have two evening events. Our "Spring Fling" event is held on the first Monday in June at Swaneset Golf Course. We have a buffet dinner and then provide the opportunity to shop and support local business via a mini market. Our extremely popular Christmas Party is held the first Tuesday in December at Pitt Meadows Golf Course. The event consists of a buffet dinner and fashion show.  Everyone goes home with a gift at each of our evening events and there are lots of door prizes as well.

Women's AM contributes to the community throughout the year with charitable donations through funds raised at our events.

There are no membership fees. You pay as you attend the morning breakfast meetings. We request that you rsvp via the Chamber or through our email reminders. Tickets are sold in advance for the evening events.
